Execute Backorder Processing
Overview
There might be situations when the goods are not actually available at the date close to the delivery to the customer. It may happen due to unplanned changes in the supply schedule, damages in warehouses, and other. By reviewing reserved goods, you figure out if the necessary quantity of goods could be released as available in stock and be reserved later from future supply.
Evaluating Available Goods in Stock
- Go to Warehouse and delivery > Order supply forecast.
- Find the order and item with a difficult supply situation.

4. Run the Stock availability report.
5. Find the required item and check the quantity in the Now - In reserve column and the Expected - In reserve column.

6. Double-click the quantity, click Drill down and select Shipment order.
7. Analyze the list of orders where this item is reserved.

Reallocating Reserved Stock
- Open the Order holding the stock reserved and go to the Goods tab.
- Select the item and divide the line to separate the quantity for reallocation.
- Choose a supply method other than Reserved under the reallocation decision.
Once you’ve done everything, open the Order supply forecast workplace, find the sales order and check if the status is improved.
