Defining Delivery Terms

Overview

Companies usually apply standard, contract-specific, or even one-off case delivery service policy that considers transportations, distance, partner segment, and other delivery conditions. The delivery terms are defined in orders.
To enable delivery, go to Master Data and settings > Warehouse and delivery and under Delivery, select the Delivery management checkbox.

Assigning Goods Pickup from Warehouses

  1. Open the required order.
  2. Go to the Delivery tab.
  3. Select the Pickup from warehouse delivery method.
  4. Post the document.

Assigning Delivery by In-house Carrier

  1. Open the required order.
  2. Go to the Delivery tab.
  3. Select the In-house carrier delivery method.
  4. Enter an Address, a Delivery zone, and a Required delivery time slot.
  5. Post the document.

Assigning Delivery by Third Party Carrier

  1. Open the required order.
  2. Go to the Delivery tab.
  3. Select the Outsourced carrier delivery method.
  4. Select the third-party carrier company.
  5. Fill the Customer delivery address.
  6. Post the document.

Assigning Multi-Carrier Delivery

  1. Open the required order.
  2. Go to the Delivery tab.
  3. Select the In-house carrier (delivery to shipping company) delivery method.
  4. 4. Select the third-party carrier company.
  5. Enter a Delivery address to carrier, Delivery zone, a Required delivery time slots, and a Customer delivery address
  6. Post the document.

Specifying Prices for Delivery Services

  1. Open the required order.
  2. Go to the Goods tab.
  3. Click Fill > Pick goods.
  4. Find the delivery service item and select it.
  5. Fill the Quantity and add it to the document.
  6. Specify the price for the delivery service.
  7. Post the document.
